PDS Session: Transforming Classroom Behavior and Culture
Welcome to PDS 2019! Our session is: Transforming Classroom Behavior and Culture Trauma, ACE, and Classroom Discipline What is the link between early life trauma and behavior? How do we design our discipline procedures to meet the needs of our students with complex behaviors? In this session, we will look at models of discipline that trigger and aide students with high ACE scores, as well as how to educate other staff. We will look at the impact of trauma on behavior and learn well-practiced and proven strategies to champion challenging behaviors. Resource File Link
